Group Study Room Guidelines
The Western Libraries are pleased to provide study rooms for students and groups.
Rooms are available on a first come, first served basis with the exception of three reservable group study rooms.
Rooms W377, W477, and W577 may be reserved in advance by contacting the Circulation Services desk in the Haggard wing of the library at least one day in advance.
Groups have priority over individuals. Single individuals may use a room but must vacate it when groups request its use.
Neither an individual nor a group may "reserve" a room by leaving belongings in the room. In such instances any other study group is entitled to use the room.
Reserving Group Study Rooms
There are three reservable rooms for study groups of up to 10 people. They are located in the northwest corner of the Wilson Library building on the third, fourth and fifth floors: W 377, W477 and W577. Each room has a black-board and electrical outlets.
To secure a room:
- Contact Circulation Services in Haggard Hall (650-3084).
- Supply your name and WWU ID or library courtesy borrower card.
- Indicate when you need the room and the class for which you will be studying.
Reservations are limited to four hours and need to be made 1 to 7 days ahead of time.
Daily reservations are posted outside each room.
