Video Viewing Rooms The WWU Libraries has a limited number of viewing rooms available for use by students and faculty groups of two persons or more wishing to view a video together. These rooms can be booked in advance or groups may inquire about immediate availability at the Media Desk. 18 individual viewing carrels are available for individual viewers in the Audio / Visual Room. A valid WWU ID card is required to book or use a group viewing room or check-out headphones for individual viewing. Each viewing room has a 27-inch video monitor, VCR and DVD player. Viewing room WL-290 contains a VCR and DVD player suitable for viewing non-North American standard videos. None of these rooms are not sound-proof and audio levels should be kept only as high as required. Video Viewing Rooms are always kept locked. Members of your group should all arrive on time for a scheduled room booking. Users who do not arrive on time for their booking forfeit their use of the room after 15 minutes. A policy sheet for viewing rooms is posted on the door of each room. To book a viewing room in advance contact the Media Desk at 650-4767. Updated March 2008 |
