My Bookhouse

Olive Beaupre Miller was an American author and publisher of children's literature.  The Book House for Children series was published according to her personal standards.

There are six volumes in this set, starting with nursery rhymes and fables in volume one, the reading level progresses higher with each volume.  Each volume is filled with color illustrations on nearly every page.  Illustrators include Randolph Caldecott, William Blake, and N.C. Wyeth.  Authors represented in the series are Shakespeare, Wordsworth, Dickens, and of course in volume one, Mother Goose.
