Everyday we are connected to water in thousands of ways that are overlooked. From purchasing produce to flushing toilets, water is a driving force behind our lives and lifestyles. The average American uses over 100 gallons of water each day, while people in many of the poorest countries use 5 gallons on average. Take a moment to acknowledge the tremendous impact of water in your own life and learn more about the global water crisis.

Water Week is an entire week devoted to raising awareness and gaining appreciation for water! Join Students for Sustainable Water each day from May 6th to 10th in activities ranging from bedazzling your water bottle, creating a rain barrel in a workshop at the Outback, and hearing faculty and community members talk about their role in local water issues at a speaker event.
