- Always sort your list first!
- Print up to 30 selected fields
- In text, uses the same selection options as when creating a list, except for the PRINT ITEM prompt
- In text only, you can "limit set" related to criteria
Example: You create a list of materials cataloged in the last month. Then, you use this function to extract title, author, publisher, etc., and limit to BIB LVL=s for new periodicals. Repeat limiting to ITYPE or MAT TYPE used for videos. Repeat limiting to 856 <> [empty] for electronic resources, etc.
- You may then specify the page layout including
- whether variable length fields begin on new lines,
- number of blank lines between records
- page heading
- Print your list to email
- Save your email as a file
- Open your file in application of choice and manipulate until it looks like you want!
