Dr. Duke's phytochemical and ethonobotanical databases Provides technical information on the chemicals found in plants and their ethnobotanical uses. Its organization is largely thematic, with options to search by plant name, chemical, activity, or ethnobotany. Noble Foundation Plant Image Gallery An ongoing project which currently includes over 600 species of vascular plants and is designed to assist botanists, ecologists, and natural resource managers with identification. Terrestrial Vegetation of the United States University of Wisconsin-Madison plant systematics collection This web site provides structured access to a teaching collection of plant images representing over 250 families and 1000 genera of vascular plants. Wildland Invasive Species Program A collaboration of Duke University and the Nature Conservancy. [Return to Top] Journals Journals in Botany Access a list of selected journals in the field of botany, with links to fulltext content. [Return to Top] Theses and Dissertations Dissertations & Theses (ProQuest) Digital Dissertations provides subject, title, and author access to almost all American dissertations accepted at accredited institutions since 1861. Masters theses have been selectively indexed since 1962. Abstracts are included for doctoral dissertation records from July 1980 to the present and for masters theses from 1988. Theses Canada Portal / National Library of Canada • Dates covered: 1965-current Theses Canada is a comprehensive searchable database of Canadian theses compiled by the National Library of Canada (NLC) and other Canadian university libraries. Indexing goes back to 1965, with free access full text availability from 1998 to 2002 (to be ongoing).
