  • Business Source Complete (EBSCO)
    Business Source Complete (BSC) contains articles from newspapers, magazines, academic journals and trade publications. It also contains company, industry, country and market reports. A general business database, BSC covers most business subjects and is a good place to start when doing business research.

    • Dates covered: 1969-current
    EconLit contains citations, with abstracts, of articles from over 400 economics journals. In addition, subject indexing and abstracts of books and dissertations are included. Corresponding print sources are the Journal of Economic Literature, Index of Economic Articles, and the Cambridge University Press Abstracts of Working Papers in Economics. Site License.
  • MOST digital library / United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization. Management of Social Transformations (MOST) Programme
    The MOST Digital Library contains results from research carried out since the inception of the MOST Program in 1994. The types of documents produced include: best practices, books, book reviews, city templates, discussion papers, journal reviews, reports, newsletters, policy papers and working papers. The themes covered include Drugs, Globalization and Governance, International Migration, Multicultural Societies, Poverty Eradication, Social transformations, Sustainability, Urban Development and HIV/AIDS. MOST Program research has been carried out in all geographical regions and sometimes includes comparative studies between regions.

    Development and Globalization: Facts and Figures surveys major developments in the world economy over the past 40 years. Aimed at a broad audience, it describes the evolution of developing countries, particularly in the context of globalization. The publication is a quick-reference tool for evaluating the growth prospects of developing countries. It also provides an overview of UNCTAD'swork to identify the best policies and practices for developing countries.
  • Global development finance / World Bank
    Global Development Finance combines a diagnosis of recent trends and prospects for capital flows to developing countries with an analysis of important policy issues.
  • Key development data & statistics / World Bank
    The World Bank presents key economic indicators for 206 countries and also has regional composite profiles, tracing the trends in social and economic development. Aggregates for each country's regional and income groups are also included. The headings are: People, Environment, Economy, Technology and Infrastructure, Trade and Finance. The profiles here are drawn from the World Development Indicators Database. It is intended for cross country comparison, and includes a section on the environment for each country, including data on freshwater resources, carbon dioxide emissions, sanitation, energy use, etc. These tables cover a 5-year span.
