Check Catalog LNPS Online is a searchable database of the literature of philanthropy. It incorporates the unique contents of the Foundation Center's five libraries and contains more than 19,000 full bibliographic citations, of which more than 12,000 have descriptive abstracts.

National Council of Nonprofit Associations (NCNA) NCNA is the network of state and regional associations of nonprofits serving over 20,000 members in 41 states and District of Columbia. OMBWatch OMB Watch is a nonprofit research, educational, and advocacy organization that focuses on federal budget issues, regulatory policy, nonprofit advocacy, access to government information, and activities at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). National taxonomy of exempt entities / Foundation Center The National Taxonomy of Exempt Entities (NTEE) was developed by Russy Sumariwalla, for the National Center for Charitable Statistics. It classifies organizations as exempt under certain sections of the IRS code into 26 major fields.

American Institute of Philanthropy This charity watchdog helps donors make informed giving decisions. The AIP's Charity Rating Guide and Watchdog report evaluates about 400 American charities. The site lists top salaries of nonprofits, and also provides some articles on charitable giving.
