Check Catalog The Directory is divided into six sections. Section 1 is a listing of Washington establishments classified by product or service; Section 2 is an Alphabetical Section; Section 3 is a Geographical Section, in which Washington manufacturers, processors, wholesalers and distributors are listed alphabetically by city. Section 4 consists of an alphabetical index of S.I.C. (Standard Industrial Classification) Codes, followed by a listing of manufacturers, etc., grouped according to the Code. Section 5 is an alphabetic listing of each Parent Company. Section 6, the County Marketing Section, shows growth pattern charts by county, city, and industry. All Sections provide company name, address, and phone number, with some providing much more detail, as explained in the Table of Contents.

Census of manufacturers / United States Bureau of Census This covers all manufacturing establishments, by state. The Census of Manufacturers, particularly the Industry Series, provides information about the size and structure of the industry in general, sometimes at the state level. The Industry Series can also provide information on value of shipments, production costs, and other industry information.
