Business Source Complete (EBSCO) Business Source Complete (BSC) contains articles from newspapers, magazines, academic journals and trade publications. It also contains company, industry, country and market reports. A general business database, BSC covers most business subjects and is a good place to start when doing business research.
Table Base International in scope, Table Base contains tabular information gleaned from over 900 trade and business publications. Over 20,000 tables are added to this database each year. They are ranked using a combination of four key performance indicators: return on equity (how well is the company turning investors' money into profit?), sales per employee (is the company losing efficiency as it gets bigger?), operating income (a better measure than net profit of the strength of the core business) and stock price appreciation (is the market rewarding success?).
