    • Dates covered: 1969-current
    EconLit contains citations, with abstracts, of articles from over 400 economics journals. In addition, subject indexing and abstracts of books and dissertations are included.     Environmental Resource Web (erWEB) is a comprehensive web utility that conveys current information about the Environmental Industry to all sectors of American society. In this way, erWEB is helping Americans understand and utilize the products and services of the emerging Environmental Industry.
  • Mandala Projects / Lee, Jim
    The Mandala Projects includes collections of case studies focussing on international trade, environmental issues, conflict, and culture; course syllabi; and links to other websites. These are categorized under the headings of Trade Environment Database (TED), Inventory of Conflict and Environment (ICE); Global Classroom (GC); and Developing Projects.
  • Scorecard / Environmental Defense
    This is a popular resource for information about pollution problems and toxic chemicals. The database is searchable by company, zip code, or state to determine the type/s of pollution problems which exist.
  • World resources : a report by the World Resources Institute and the International Institute for Environment and Development

    Reports are issued every several years. The 2005 edition is subtitled The Wealth of the Poor: Managing ecosystems to fight poverty. "Ecosystems are -- or can be -- the wealth of the poor.     These are concise investment profiles for a wide range of key industries, including non-manufacturing industries such as retail and service. The profiles include a summary of the current state of the industry, trends, a section on "how the industry operates", and analysis of companies within an industry. Individual surveys also contain an overview, financial analysis and projections, rankings of top companies, market share, and much more.
  • Value line investment survey / Value Line Inc.

    Value Line is a geared towards investors, but knowing the financial performance of a company and its competitors is another way to sum up a company and industry. Value Line is updated quarterly. Included for each company is an analyst commentary on the future performance expectations of a company's stock. Companies in Value Line are organized by industry and each industry has a one-page summary.
