Use your Interlibrary Loan account to request copies of articles from journals Wilson Library owns in paper copy only or that Wilson Library does not own. Please read this important statement about Interlibrary Loan costs before proceeding.

Interlibrary Loan will acquire copies of journal articles in electronic form whenever possible. Please allow for 5-7 working days for journal articles to arrive.

• To access your Interlibrary Loan/Document Delivery (ILLiad) account to place a request, go to the Interlibrary Loan delivery web site.
• Click on Login to your ILLiad account at the bottom of the page.

• Filling out the form
  
  1. Under New Request Forms choose the Journal Article form.
  2. Enter the Journal Title (not the title of the article), in this example: Child Maltreatment.
  3. Enter the Volume, Month, Year (date of publication), Issue (if available) and inclusive pages.
  4. Enter the Author of the Article. If there is more than one author, enter the first 2-3 authors (first and last names)
  5. Enter the Title of the Article or a significant portion of the title ("Recognizing and treating uncommon behavioral and emotional disorders in children and adolescents").
  6. If you have the ISSN number, please include it. (The ISSN is the International Standard Serial Number. Sometimes it will be included in a citation.)
  7. If you have a date after which you do not want the article anymore, enter the date. Please note that Interlibrary Loan cannot guarantee delivery of materials by a specific date.
  8. If there is any information that may help Interlibrary Loan identify the material, please add this to the Notes.
  9. When you have completed the form and filled in all the required fields (marked with an *), click on Submit Request.

The Interlibrary Loan department will send you an email when the article is available. Click on the URL in the link to bring up the article. You may also log in to your account to retrieve the article.

If you cannot remember your interlibrary loan/document delivery (ILLiad) account password, you can have it reset by contacting the Interlibrary Loan office, the Reference Desk or filling in the form.

If you need to update your personal information, log in to your account and click on the Change User Information button at the bottom of the screen.
