  EBSCO - Business Source Complete
EBSCO Business Source Complete provides full text articles and abstracts from a large selection of scholarly business journals. Topics cover every area of business including marketing, management, MIS, POM, economics, finance, accounting, and international business. Additional full text, non-journal content includes financial data, books, monographs, major reference works, book digests, conference proceedings, case studies, investment research reports, industry reports, market research reports, country reports, company profiles, and SWOT analyses.
  Emerald (MCB Emerald Library)
This scholarly database contains over 40,000 articles from over 100 management journals, complete with full text archives back to 1994. Covers the major management disciplines including strategy, leadership, information management, marketing and human resource management.
  GLOBUS & NTDB
GLOBUS and National Trade Databank (NTDB) is part of STAT-USA/Internet, a service of the U.S. Department of Commerce. These databases provide current and historical trade-related releases, international market research, trade opportunities, country analysis, and a trade library. These databases are only available in Haggard Hall, Wilson Library, and the Parks Hall Lab; they are not available off campus, in campus labs, or on laptops through the wireless network. However, the marketing portion of the NTDB database is free from Stategis.
  IBISWorld
Industry market research reports for more than 700 U.S. Industries. Reports vary from 30-50 pages in length and cover several basic categories: key statistics, market segmentation, market characterization, industry conditions, key factors, key competitors, industry performance and outlook. IBISWorld provides links to related industries as well as reports on other analysis of outside factors affecting the industry. Reports can be searched by NAICS code, industry keyword, or company name.

PAIS contains over 400,000 citations and abstracts of journal articles, books, book chapters, conference proceedings, government documents, and statistical directories. Site License.

STAT-USA/Internet, a service of the U.S. Department of Commerce, is the site for the U.S. business, economic and trade community, providing authoritative information from the Federal government. Includes National Trade DataBank, which provides current and historical trade-related releases, international market research, trade opportunities, country analysis, and a trade library. You can access the marketing part of the database from Strategis.
  Westlaw Campus Research
    1789-
West Law Campus Research provides the fulltext to West's legal reporters that include all federal and state case law (Courts of Appeals and higher), statutes and regulations for all 50 states, Code of Federal Regulations, The Federal Register, administrative rulings, and legal coverage of the European Union. Included are over 700 law revews and journals, American Jurisprudence 2nd, and American Law Reports. The business collection includes Hoover's Company Records, SEC reports, and trade journals. Includes news and information databases, newspapers, newsletters, trade journals, newswires, and broadcast transcripts.

  Canadian Business Directory
This database is part of the Reference USA database. It indexes over 1.3 million Canadian businesses.
  Corporate Affiliations
Corporate Affiliations (CA) is a directory of public and private information. Includes basic company information (contact info, location, SIC/NAICS), a financial snapshot, executives, and a corporate tree (parents company, subsidiaries, etc.) CA does not have analysis or a narrative, but it is a great place to find information on privately-held companies.
  Mergent Online
Mergent provides financial information on publicly traded US and international companies. Contains current and historical financial going back fifteen years. Includes SEC filings including 10Ks, proxies, insider trading information, and more. Mergent does not contain information on private or defunct companies. Limited to three concurrent users; if you are denied access, try again in a few minutes. Please log out when done.

    Encyclopedias

  Encyclopedia of American Industries Online
The Encyclopedia of American Industries provides information on a wide range of industries in every realm of American business. Industry coverage includes a snapshot of the industry, organization and structure, background and development, current conditions, industry leaders, workforce, research and technology, and further reading. Entries are organized by SIC industry descriptions, but they can be searched by keyword.
  Encyclopedia of Emerging Industries Online
The Encyclopedia of Emerging Industries provides information on the inception, emergence and current status of new and established industries and business segments that are pioneering new technologies, introducing break-through marketing strategies or implementing innovative means of serving new markets. The Encyclopedia covers industries, such as biometrics, risk management services, satellites, and specialty tourism.

  National Technical Information Service (NTIS)
NTIS has the largest central resource for government-funded scientific, technical, engineering, and business related information available in the United States. A subset of about 200,000 of these publications (pre-2000) are available full-text because WWU is a federal depository. Contact the Government Documents librarian for access to the full-text material.

Cabell's provides lists of publishing opportunities in a wide variety of business subjects. In order to access this website you must be using a computer within Parks Hall.

  BizSeer
BizSeer is a publicly available digital library and search engine hosted at Penn State's Smeal College of Business that focuses on academic business documents. The search engine crawls websites of universities, commercial organizations, research institutes and government departments to retrieve academic articles, working papers, white papers, consulting reports, magazine articles, and published statistics and facts.

  Wall Street Journal
(Dow Jones & Co. - Daily) Also available full text on ProQuest or at http://interactive.wsj.com/. The web version gives you two weeks free with your subscription; some free services are available to non-subscribers (e.g. ordering some company annual reports; a year-end review of markets and finance). The Wall Street Journal is considered the leading U.S. daily business newspaper, and provides extensive coverage of general news, but with a particular emphasis on business, marketplace and financial news. It is indexed in ProQuest. It has a special report on e-commerce published every Monday.

USA Trade Online provides access to the U.S. Merchandise Trade data, offering current and cumulative export and import data on more than 18,000 commodities world wide. Available in the library computer stations on Haggard 2. To access in the Haggard 245 lab, ask for password assistance at the Reference Desk (Haggard 2).
