Consider taking LIBR 197: Research Strategies for Academic Success!
LIBR 197: Research Strategies for Academic Success (CRN 13712) introduces students to the nature of research with emphasis on strategies for inquiry, how to locate research resources, assessing sources for authority, and to select and incorporate material from sources into writing. The entirety of course lectures, assignments, and exams are designed to prepare students for their Final Project: crafting a personalized research handbook. Students can subsequently use this handbook of research strategies to supplement their own studies at Western Washington University for the remainder of their academic career.
