A new art exhibit moved in to the library recently, and this one is a little special because of the students behind it.
"Notions of Home, Notions of Faraway Places," is a result of the extensive work of the students in Julia Sapin's Art History 490 class. Students spent spring term studying the ways in which exhibitions communicate ideas to a variety of audiences. Keeping WWU and Bellingham viewers in mind, students composed this exhibition from works they researched throughout the term, chosen from art collections here on campus.
The result is almost 30 unique art works, which are currently adorning the walls of Wilson Library. The exhibit will be on display through July 31.
