  15. Notable Features:
  16. There is a small but excellent video collection. Access to the Music Library provides much supplemental material, particularly for music of the dance. There is excellent coverage through electronic resources for dance history, music, forms of dance, dancers, staging, teaching dance, movement, costumes, literature, films and research in dance.

  17. Narrative Statement:
  18. The Dance Librarian considers faculty input an important factor in collection development and the head of the Dance Program is extremely active in the selection process. In checking the titles against Books for College Libraries, 3rd ed., and Mary Edsall's bibliography, A Collection in Dance, ACRL, 2001 edition, the library has approximately 98% of BCL titles and a very large number of the available titles in the Edsall bibliography. The Dance collection is growing along with the Dance Program.
