    The emphasis will be on current rather than retrospective collections.

  11. We have licensed some databases collectively with the lab at Parks Hall. This allows us to be able to access CD-ROM products such as Compustat and Standard and Poor Research Insight.

  16. Narrative Statement:
  17. We do not have a good collection of materials in International Finance. As a matter of fact a survey last year showed we had 16.6% of the core titles in this area held by libraries our size. We also do not have a strong collection in Risk and Insurance, but we only have one class in this subject and therefore use would not be heavy for these materials.

    Material in finance is very expensive and dates rapidly. We have had to make substantial cuts to journal holding in this area.

    We have only bought 644 titles in the last 5 years whereas between 1995-9 we bought over 800. On the other hand enrollment in finance has increased in the past few years.
