LinguisticsCollection Development Policy

The collection is designed to support the Linguistics Program. The science of language, linguistics, is an interdisciplinary field relating to the diversity of cultures and languages of the world. A major or minor in linguistics is available.
Explanatory Notes: Monographs, journals and DVDs are acquired in support of teaching.
Summit and ILLIAD (interlibrary loan).
Current subscriptions include Language and Linguistics Behavior Abstracts and The Modern Language Asso[ciation Bibliography.
The collection supports linguistics faculty in the following departments: Modern & Classical Languages, Communication Sciences and Disorders, English, Computer Science, Anthropology, Philosophy, and Teaching English as a Second Language. |
