Alert Service in the Library Catalog


You can save frequently used searches in the library catalog, and have the new materials that match your search automatically emailed to you weekly!

  • Login to your account in the library catalog

  • Search the catalog using the link on the right side of your record

  • Choose the type of search you wish to do and enter your search terms

  • Click the "Save Search" button to the right of the search box near the top of the screen

  • Use the "Return to your record" button at the top of the screen

  • Click the "Preferred Searches" link on the right side of your record

    • You may return to this screen and click on the "Search" link on the right side of the search for a quick and easy search
    • OR, you may mark the box in the "Mark for Email" column to have new materials that match this search emailed to you weekly.
    • Make sure that you have email enabled for notices using the "Modify personal information" link on the right side of your record
