Instructions for LIT
LIT is set up in Blackboard. Instructors who want to use LIT for a blackboard course should request a copy of the tutorial from web services at http://bbrequest.wwu.edu . Web services will create a new Blackboard course titled “Library Tutorial for yourclassname”. This is a separate Blackboard course from your class’s Blackboard course and students will see both courses listed when they log into MyWestern. All of the students registered in your course will automatically be added to the LIT Blackboard if you correctly specify the CRN when requesting the LIT course in http://bbrequest.wwu.edu
REQUEST A COPY OF THE TUTORIAL
- Go to http://bbrequest.wwu.edu
- Click on Request a Course.
- On the Request a Course page, pick the Quarter from the drop-down menu.
- Type in the CRN of the course section you’re teaching that will use this Library Information Tutorial course (this automates enrollment for this Blackboard course)
- Click on Continue to Course Customization.
- You will see a warning message. Click YES for “Would you like to proceed?”.
