Library Catalog Lists all books, videos, etc. in WWU's libraries. Lists most government documents in the collection. Does not list periodical articles, but lists periodical titles. So, once you have found that you want an article in, say, Journal of Environmental Education, use the catalog to find out whether the library owns the journal.

ERIC Indexes articles and research reports in the fields of education and child study. Also available here.
PsycINFO Indexes journals in the field of psychology.
Environmental Universe Contains more than 20 databases, including:
Environment Abstracts. Covers the world's environmental related information. Environment Abstracts provides indexing and abstracting coverage of more than 1,000 international primary and secondary publications reporting on all aspects of the environment. These publications highlight such fields as management, technology, planning, law, political science, economics, geology, biology, and chemistry as they relate to environmental issues. Draws material from over 1,000 scientific, technical, trade, professional, and general periodicals; conference papers and proceedings; government documents; industry reports; newspapers; and project reports. Envirofiche collection, located on Wilson Library 2nd Floor West, provides microfiche copies of many of the materials found in Environment Abstracts.
Environmental News. The complete text of thousands of short articles from Greenwire, Environment and Energy Daily, Mining Journal, Seattle Times, Boston Globe, and hundreds of other sources.
Environmental Law Reviews. Full text of articles from Columbia Journal of Environmental Law, Ecology Law Quarterly, Environmental Lawyer, Public Land & Resources Law Review, etc.
Web of Science Contains Science Citation Index, Social Science Citation Index, and Arts and Humanities Index, which can be searched separately or together. These indexes list all the citations (footnotes) in scholarly articles. You can search by subject, or you can look up authors or works to see who is citing them.
ProQuest An index to newspapers, general magazines, and some journals. About half the material is available full-text.
Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Abstracts A comprehensive database on the science, technology, and management of marine and freshwater environments and resources. A collaborative effort of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (Rome), the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission of UNESCO (Paris), the office for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea of the United Nations (New York) and the Ocean and Coastal Areas Programme Activity Centre of the United Nations Environment Programme (Nairobi), and national agencies in Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Norway, Portugal, Russia, the United Kingdom, and the U.S.A.
Biological and Medical Sciences More than twenty databases from Cambridge Scientific Abstracts, including: Agricultural and Environmental Biotechnology Abstracts, Animal Behavior Abstracts, Bacteriology Abstracts, Ecology Abstracts, Entomology Abstracts, Health and Safety Science Abstracts, Oncogenes and Growth Factors Abstracts, and Toxicology Abstracts. The databases can be searched separately or together.
JSTOR - A project that puts the full text of all issues, except for the most recent years, of selected academic journals on the World Wide Web. JSTOR currently includes 6 ecology journals (Ecology, Ecological applications, etc), and 11 population studies journals (Demography, Studies in Family Planning, etc), among over a hundred others.
