Introduction to the Tutorial

This tutorial is intended to give you an overview of the 5th edition of the Publication manual of the American Psychological Association (APA style manual) and its rules for citing sources.

This tutorial is not intended as a substitute for the manual and you should always refer to the APA style manual when you have questions.

Style manual page numbers are given in red.

If you are a WWU student taking the APA tutorial for a class and you are not logged into Blackboard, please return to Blackboard to login.

Guests may also complete the tutorial. However, the self-tests are only available to WWU students who are logged into Blackboard.
